The division RadioFrequenza of the SINT is engaged mainly in the following activities:

• Qualified service of monitoring, preventive certification and check of conformity of the electromagnetic field of radio frequency sources (GSM, DCS, UMTS, GSM-R, VHF, UHF)
• Cellular network validation and optimization of the radio covering
• Certification of the visibility of the radio sources for MW connections
• Measures of interfering signals for connections point to point MW for PDH and SDH systems
• Integrated system for the continuous monitoring of the electromagnetic emissions
• Phonometric analysis
• Indor, urban, rural, radio network projects and organitazion in environments indoor, urban, for GSM/DCS and UMTS systems
• Activity of assistance and optimization of the radio quality
• Validation of radio sites
