The SINT developed the Project MAP EF with the collaboration of the Norman Research.
It's a complex system of prediction, evaluation, monitoring and representation of the electromagnetic fields, is high that low frequency, able to model the electromagnetic fields exceeding the approximation of free field and holding account of the contributions due to the phenomena of reflection, refraction and diffraction of the electromagnetic waves; a system is realized moreover that allows multiple users, and in real time, to obtain the continuous monitoring of the electromagnetic fields on individual zones of territory using GIS functionality, images, queries, space analysis; all details of the monitoring are accessible through Web interface.
The details of the system, well known in Italy, are accessible to the url of the Research and Development division MAP EF Project. It's available in the following cities: Salerno, Eboli, Mercato San Severino, Vietri sul Mare.
Other italian cities are adopting such electromagnetic fields monitoring system.

MAP EF Project

The Research and Development division of the SINT has developed an integrated system for the realtime monitoring of the electromagnetic emissions on the territory of the Province of Salerno (Italy) for low and high frequency.
